SUBMISSIONS

Blue Bag is almost always up to something. We update this page often.

We currently seek proposals for FOLIOS to appear in RESOURCES.

In your proposal

1. Indicate the relation to our political and aesthetic project (RESOURCES, ISSUE, and Mutant Solidarities are recommended examples of our primary interests and motivations). 

2. Name 3-5 participants, and what their contributions may entail. We prefer that proposals are sent after you have confirmed the participation of each individual.

3. Estimated date by which you plan to submit all materials.

Folio editors should provide an over-arching commentary/editorial note with the expectation that it be forward-facing.

We also welcome re-mediations of relevant events and cultural artifacts for our RESPONSES chapter of RESOURCES.

We are not able to consider any print submissions for the foreseeable future due to currently scheduled projects. As a result, unsolicited print submissions will not receive a response.

Blue Bag Press supports the rights of occupied peoples, and as such commits to principles outlined by both BDS (https://bdsmovement.net/) and the affiliated PACBI. 

We do not publish decadent writing which participates in and is complicit with the manifold social crises of the day.

We are not a paying market. We do not believe in capitalist notions surrounding aesthetic production, or imagined alternatives that occur regardless—as we are based—-in America.

We remediate all proceeds to legal and mutual aid for resistance actionists and targeted community members.
